The Design Project Coordinator is an essential member of the team and plays a pivotal role in planning and executing marketing and communications projects. With the objective to ensure a high level of planning integration, seamless production and brand cohesiveness, the Coordinator plans and provides experienced project design support to University clients. Supports the creative team in media buying and manages the ad production for all the University. Assures that all items produced (digital and printed) are compliant to the Accessibility laws of uOttawa.
Post-secondary school diploma in marketing, communications or a related discipline
Knowledge of graphic design and production management normally acquired through college or university training and/or equivalent experience
Knowledge of project management methods, techniques and practices to develop proposals, work plans, estimate resource requirements, identify risk and develop alternative actions, monitor and report progress, and establish and manage the activities of project teams
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing marketing and/or communications projects

Temporary assignment or contract of 24 months, with possibility of renewal. Eligibility to benefits and union affiliation will be determined upon hiring.
