Are you a forward-thinking leader with a passion for excellence? We are actively seeking a Store Manager in Southwestern Ontario for an auto accessory store.
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. You will be responsible for leading and motivating staff and maintaining the overall efficiency of the store.
Here’s What You’ll be Doing:
- Collaborates with the ownership to make final decisions on goals and objectives.
- Collaborates with Sales manager on Forecasts and meeting Sales objectives.
- Participates, reviews and provides recommendations for the annual operating forecast and budget for the store. Manages operational department expenses.
- Manages the shop work and shop staff. Manages productivity, reviews work and deals with daily issues. Coordinates shop daily schedule.
- Coordinates with Sales to ensure that Shop and other staff supporting Sales as needed.
- Responsible for hiring, training, motivating, coaching and monitoring the performance of applicable employees.
- Responsible for coordination, the development, implementation and monitoring of Health and Safety programs. Also responsible for housekeeping around the facility.
· Inspect, test, and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure government regulations and company policies are followed.
- Performs other duties as required by ownership to ensure the successful operation of the store.
Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent.
- A university degree or college diploma in business administration is an asset.
- Minimum 15 to 20 years experience in retail sales industry, including a minimum of 10 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience working with a technical product. Vehicle experience an asset.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills.
- Ability to build a customer focused team environment.
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
