The Opportunity
We are seeking a Certified Automotive Service Technician (Journeyman) to join our growing team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of passenger vehicles and light trucks. You’ll be the backbone of our service bays, ensuring our customers hit the road safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose & Repair: Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults on diverse vehicle makes and models.
- Maintenance Services: Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake replacements, alignments, and tune-ups.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct road tests and quality checks to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all provincial and shop safety standards.
- Documentation: Clearly document all work performed, parts used, and additional recommendations for the service advisors.
What You Bring
- Certification: Valid Journeyman Automotive Service Technician designation (Red Seal preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience working in a fast-paced automotive repair environment.
- Tools: A well-maintained, personal inventory of automotive tools.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities (experience with modern scanning tools is a must) and a keen eye for detail.
- Credentials: A valid Saskatchewan driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Attitude: A reliable, team-oriented mindset and a pride in your workmanship.
