Workforce Inc. is currently seeking an Underground Sampler to assist a local client in Timmins, ON.

Responsibilities:
- Collect underground samples accurately and in accordance with site procedures and sampling protocols
- Follow all site safety policies, regulations, and standard operating procedures at all times
- Perform physical labour in an underground mining environment
- Work collaboratively with geologists, engineers, and underground operations personnel
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Participate in shift work as required, including afternoon shifts
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Underground Common Core is an asset
- Previous experience in a mining or exploration environment is an asset
- Technical background or familiarity with mining operations preferred
- Post-secondary education in geology, mining engineering, or a related field is considered an asset
- Experience level is flexible; this role is suitable for entry-level candidates seeking to gain underground experience
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physically capable of performing manual labour in an underground setting
- Willingness and flexibility to work shift schedules
- Valid drivers licence and reliable transportation are required
