City Pets Animal Clinic is looking to hire an experienced veterinary assistant/receptionist to join our amazing team! We are intentionally taking our time in the hiring process to ensure we find the ideal candidate who aligns perfectly with our team and company culture.
We are a locally owned and operated clinic right across from Hillside mall. We have recently moved into our brand new clinic designed by our practice owner to be functional and full of natural light. We are equipped with 4 spacious exam rooms, electric tables to to do the heavy lifting, a state of the art dental suite, surgery suite, in house diagnostics and x-ray.
Our current team is upbeat, eager to learn and all levels work together as a team. Our practice is fear free oriented and we work to create a stress free environment for our patients. We are a scent free office. Benefits are available to all full time employees and we have generous staff discounts on services and products. Wages are competitive and can be discussed.
Our ideal candidate…
- Is a motivated individual who loves to learn and be engaged in their work
- Has significant experience in the veterinary industry
- Has experience with surgery prep and sterilization
- Has experience with in house diagnostics
- Has experience with hands free radiograph techniques
- Would enjoy working in a friendly environment establishing long term relationships with wonderful clientele.
- Has experience working with Mac/iOS computers
- Has exceptional communication skills
- Is a detail oriented, organized person
- Is looking for a long term/permanent position
- Must be a team player
