About the Role
- Day Shift (06:00-18:00) and Night shift available (18:00-06:00)
- Continental shift (4 days on, 4 days off)
- Home at the end of every shift
- Driving equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Performing duties in a shunt truck (coupling, uncoupling, movement of trailers)
- Identifying empties in the yard
- Perform inspections of mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment of tractor trailer unit before, during, and after trips, including gauges, lighting and electrical systems, and visual checks of potential water, oil, fuel and air leaks
- Completing all applicable paperwork electronically
- Responsible for communicating with team as needed
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional manner
- Be able to perform physical work at times (lifting in excess of 50lbs)
- Observing and complying with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act

Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience commercial driving
- Clean drivers abstract and CVOR
- Satisfactory pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Satisfactory drug and alcohol random testing
- Own a truck or lease with us
- Valid AZ License
- Satisfactory current police clearance (CPIC)
- Passport and or Fast Card for Cross border work
- The truck must not be older than 2014
Position Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is mandatory
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Professional attitude, presentable as a partner in business
