The Bus Centre is currently seeking an experienced professional to join our great team in the role of Business Office Manager. This position is accountable to the Dealer Principal and must be a team player. This role provides financial and human resource oversight and liaisons professionally with customers and vendors. The position oversees the financial aspects of the business including accounts payables and receivables, warranty claim disbursements, and bookkeeping support. Responsibilities also consist of human resources, new employee onboarding, benefits support and policy implementation.

Knowledge and Skills Required

Post-secondary education with an emphasis on Human Resources and Accounting

Previous management experience

Excellent communication skills

Interact professionally and with confidentiality

Expertise in problem solving

Knowledge of WCB and Occupational Health and Safety regulations

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Liaison with Department Managers, Sales Coordinator and Full Cycle Bookkeeper

Financial oversight and reporting of business transactions

Attend monthly Managers meeting

Create and/or improve existing business systems and procedures

Collaborate with Trainer to implement employee development and training

The Bus Centre is located at 11461 261 St. Acheson, Alberta. Hours 8.00 am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. TBC is a privately owned full service bus dealership. TBC offers sales, parts, and service to an extensive customer base across Canada with products like Thomas Built Buses, Starcraft, Diamond Coach, Collins and Malley. We offer an excellent benefits program. August is high season with limited vacation time. Salary is competitive and relative to qualifications and experience.
