Job Summary
We are a wholesale-distributor located in Brampton, Ontario and are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver/Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team.
Duties
- Safely operate forklift and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders using warehouse management systems to ensure timely shipment fulfillment.
- Receive incoming shipments by inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, verifying against purchase orders.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards and proper materials handling procedures.
- Maintain organized storage areas by stacking pallets securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques for heavy loads, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Other duties as required to support the warehouse team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles with a focus on order picking and materials handling.
- Valid forklift certification with hands-on experience operating forklifts.
- Knowledge of OHSA safety regulations and best practices for heavy lifting ( up to 50lbs) and materials handling.
- Previous experience in similar roles, supporting warehouse operations is a plus but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
