Responsibilities:
· Identify and explore new business opportunities through various channels, including website, social media, and outreach via phone calls.
· Target and acquire potential customers to expand our market presence.
· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
· Collaborate with the technical team to understand customer needs, introduce products, provide effective solutions, and provide accurate price quotations.
· Negotiate terms with customers to ensure successful order fulfillment.
· Oversee and follow up on the delivery process, ensuring timely and efficient service.
· Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as required.
· Contribute to business planning, sales forecasting, and marketing initiatives to support overall company growth.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in electrical engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
- Experience in the power industry (generators, transformers, switchgear, etc.) is required.
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales or account management, preferably involving technical or industrial products.
- Proven ability to develop new business, manage sales pipelines, and close deals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Solid problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in an in-person work environment.
- Willingness to travel primarily within BC, with occasional travel to other Canadian provinces for key customer visits and industry events.
