As a Florist, you will play a key role in creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, delivering exceptional customer service, and contributing to the aesthetic of our shop. Your artistic skills and knowledge of flowers will enhance our customers' experiences, ensuring their floral needs are met with care and precision.
Duties
- Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and daily sales.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs.
- Manage retail sales transactions, including cash handling and operating the POS system.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure attractive displays of floral products.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock.
- Communicate with customers to understand their preferences and provide recommendations.
- Perform maintenance tasks, such as caring for plants and keeping the flowers fresh.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during peak seasons.
- Deliver orders to customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or as a florist is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance or gardening is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers.
- A passion for flowers and creativity in arranging them is essential.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no previous accidents) is required.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week
