Job Overview
We are seeking experienced 4 Commercial Red Seal (or equivalent) Roofers and Two Roofing Forepersons to join our dedicated team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofing systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards. The ideal candidates will possess 5 years of commercial roofing expertise, leadership skills, and a strong work ethic to oversee roofing projects from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems using various materials and techniques
- Lead roofing crews, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure project deadlines are met
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for proper installation procedures
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment as needed
- Apply caulking, sealants, and waterproofing solutions to ensure roof integrity
- Meet safety and industry standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Commercial Roofing
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, heavy lifting techniques, blueprint reading, and caulking applications
- Carpentry or handyman experience is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise team members effectively as a Roofing Foreman
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights in various weather conditions
- Commitment to safety practices and quality workmanship
- Prior experience with commercial roofing materials such as TPO, EPDM, or built-up roofs is a plus
Pay: $23.75-$48.00 per hour
