CTG is currently seeking a Quality & Risk Management Specialist who will support the CTG Quality and the Risk Management Program by contributing to the development and implementation of internal processes and resources.

The key responsibilities of the role include (but aren’t limited to):
Actively promoting a focus on quality, safety and risk management at all service delivery levels across CTG
Leading corporate quality improvement projects and building quality improvement skills in others
Contributing to the development and implementation of internal quality and performance monitoring tools (audits and surveys), as well as internal event reporting tools (safety risks, incidents, adverse events impacting clients and workers)
Completing regular review, analysis, and reporting of aggregate quality, safety and risk monitoring tools/indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and supporting leaders in the interpretation and application of their teams’ results for local improvement
Ensuring that CTG has the policies, job aids, forms, and client-facing materials that meet best practice standards including legislative, regulatory, customer, accreditation, clinical/professional, and internal standards
The successful Quality & Risk Management Specialist will have:
A university degree in a related discipline (Healthcare preferred)
Minimum of three years’ experience in healthcare (knowledge in community healthcare is an asset)
Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and experience leading successful quality improvement initiatives
Demonstrated knowledge of performance metrics, measurement and reporting systems for risk management, quality and client safety practices, including emergency preparedness, event tracking and risk mitigation
Experience with the Accreditation Canada or equivalent audit process would be considered and asset
Demonstrated knowledge of legislation related to professional practice, quality, safety and risk.
Proficiency in Microsoft, SharePoint software and other technology solutions
