About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable Processing Team Lead to support our Processing team in day-to-day production activities. The Processing Team Lead supports the Processing Manager and Processing Supervisors by helping coordinate post-harvest tasks within a designated room or process. This role helps keep production moving smoothly by supporting team members, tracking production information, completing required paperwork, and communicating updates or concerns.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and interested in building skills in team coordination, production tracking, documentation, and compliance.
What You’ll Do
- Support and guide Processing Technicians during daily production tasks.
- Help coordinate workflow within an assigned room or process.
- Participate in hands-on processing activities while helping keep the team focused and organized.
- Track production information such as quantities, weights, yields, task progress, and product movement.
- Complete and support accurate production paperwork, tracking documents, sanitation records, and other required forms.
- Check paperwork for completeness and accuracy before it is submitted.
- Follow and help reinforce company procedures, safety requirements, sanitation standards, and regulatory expectations.
- Communicate priorities, task updates, workflow changes, and concerns to team members and Supervisors.
- Identify and report discrepancies, incomplete paperwork, production concerns, or workflow issues.
- Support a clean, organized, positive, and safe work environment.
- Help encourage teamwork, accountability, and clear communication within the Processing team.

- Comfortable working with numbers, weights, counts, and basic calculations.
- Able to complete paperwork clearly, accurately, and on time.
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
- Dependable, organized, and able to support others in a busy production environment.
Requirements
- Based in or able to commute to Edmonton, AB, with reliable transportation.
- Previous production, warehouse, agriculture, food processing, cannabis, or regulated-industry experience is an asset.
- Previous experience as a trainer, senior team member, or informal team lead is considered an asset.
- Comfortable performing repetitive and physical tasks throughout your shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs / 22 kg and perform physical motions like bending, kneeling, or squatting safely.
- Willing to wear personal protective equipment, including gowns, gloves, respirators, or eye protection.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to employment.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
