The Royal Scot Hotel & Suites is seeking a dedicated evening Laundry Attendant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels
- Ensure all laundry items meet quality standards before distribution to guest rooms and public areas
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment and surrounding spaces
- Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and supplies
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding sanitation, safety, and guest privacy
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel laundry or cleaning services is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while managing multiple tasks
- Willingness to learn new skills related to hospitality operations
