Hofmann Construction Ltd. is a small, family-run residential construction company based in North Saanich, BC. We work on custom homes, renovations, additions, decks, and other residential projects throughout Greater Victoria, Oak Bay, and the Saanich Peninsula.
As our project inquiries continue to grow, we are looking to add a Carpenter Apprentice to our team.
This is a full-time, hands-on position for someone who is interested in residential construction and wants to keep learning the trade. Our work covers many different parts of residential construction, from concrete and framing through to exterior and interior finishing. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to build well-rounded carpentry skills and gain experience in more than just one area of the trade.

We are looking for someone who:
- Is interested in building a career in residential carpentry
- Has some construction experience, carpentry training, or apprenticeship experience
- Is reliable, willing to learn, and able to take direction
- Enjoys working as part of a small team
- Communicates clearly and respectfully
- Is presentable, professional, and respectful with both team members and clients
- Pays attention to detail
- Works safely and takes job site safety seriously
- Is comfortable with physical construction work
- Has reliable transportation
- Has basic hand tools, or is willing to build up their tool collection over time
