Medical Booking Agent – Part-Time/Full-Time

We are committed to providing an exceptional level of care for our patients and are recruiting for a Medical Booking Agent to join our growing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create an exceptional patient experience by providing professional and compassionate care
· Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and referring practitioner offices.
· Answering inbound and outbound telephone calls and serve patients by greeting and assisting them, scheduling appointments, provide preparation information, and maintaining records and accounts.
· Optimize patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by accurately scheduling appointments by telephone.
· Comfort patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining a calm demeanor on telephone calls.
· Communicating with other team members in both the booking team and other modalities to ensure accurate information is provided to patients and referrers
· Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
· Maintain patient chart accuracy by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and billing information.
· Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information at all times.
· Performs other related duties, as required.
Requirements
· Medical Office Assistant degree or certificate
· Previous Medical Office experience
· Combination of education and experience will be considered
· Excellent computer skills and previous EMR or RIS/PACS experience
· Strong attention to detail
· Able to communicate clearly and effectively on the phone
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· The ability to remain calm and handle stressful situations
· The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Shifts:
Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday, rotational shifts between 7:30am - 3:30pm and 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
