We are seeking an experienced and reliable individual to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the trucking industry and be comfortable managing day-to-day fleet operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety and driver support.
This role requires someone who can effectively communicate with drivers, oversee trucks and trailers, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and help keep operations running efficiently. Bilingual candidates who speak both Punjabi and English are strongly preferred, as this role involves regular communication with a diverse team of drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate daily with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and operational needs
- Monitor and manage trucks and trailers, including maintenance scheduling and equipment availability
- Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety requirements
- Address driver concerns and provide ongoing support
- Coordinate repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Track fleet performance and maintain accurate records
- Work closely with management to improve efficiency and productivity
- Respond quickly to operational issues and help find effective solutions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry required
- Strong understanding of fleet operations, trucks, and trailers
- Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with computers and operational software is an asset
- Fluent in both Punjabi and English (required or preferred, depending on your needs)
