We are looking for a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to come and join our team in Kelowna branch. You should have expose or experience repairing Aerial equipment, excavators, material handlings ! This position is Monday to Friday.
Here is what we need from you to get rolling!
Responsibilities:
- Perform various types of maintenance on heavy equipment, construction equipment and various pieces of machinery at various job sites
- Repair assorted heavy equipment as required to ensure proper operating condition at the job site
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and propane systems
- Recondition and replace assorted parts of the heavy equipment
- Must be able to operate and test equipment such as boom lifts, forklifts, compressors, portable and stationary generators, hydraulics, pumps and assorted tools and equipment
- Produce timely and detailed service reports and repair logs
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Heavy Duty Mechanic, Certified Red Seal Mechanic a strong asset
- Must have at least 2 year hands on experience of Aerial Platform Equipment, Generator, pumps, diesel engine equipment background preferred
- Ability to work constructively under pressure
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrates initiative and strong organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills while maintaining a professional customer service focused attitude
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record, Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License a strong asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
