What is the opportunity?
As a Redmond & Associates Warehouse Associate, you will be in the forefront of our day-to-day operations. You will champion the R&A brand by loading, unloading and cross-docking a variety of trailers and containers with the use of our specialized forklifts and overhead cranes. This is an introductory position for those who are new to moving industrial machinery and as such, this position does not require a degree, but forklift or rigging experience is valued. If you are a material handler with experience moving a variety of industrial goods, this might also be for you. What will you do?
- Cross-dock a variety of industrial goods.
- Maintaining order and cleanliness of facility.
- Tracking all shipments coming and going
- Assist drivers to load, unload and move industrial machines (ie. CNC Mills, Lathes, etc.), forklifts and other company equipment onto trailers.
- Proactively take ownership reporting equipment performance and resolving/preventing equipment damage/malfunction when possible
- Operate high-capacity forklifts, overhead cranes, and assist drivers in equipment handling.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track storage in and storage out.
- Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and securing items
- Complete daily paperwork and reports accurately and promptly
- Proactively engage with clients on-site
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Minimum 1 year of experience with a counterbalance forklift
- Valid G Driver's License
- Previous warehouse experience
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn
- Punctuality and dependability
- Integrity, reliability, and disciplined approach to work
- Self-motivation, strong communication skills, and emotional intelligence
- Flexibility to work varied hours
- Professionalism in both appearance and demeanor
- Confidence and readiness to learn all aspects of Machinery Moving

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
