Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Seasonal Part-Time Water Truck Driver to support our operations during peak periods. This role involves operating water trucks to supply water to residential customers, construction sites, agricultural fields, or other designated areas. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving and heavy equipment operation, ensuring efficient and safe delivery of water resources.
Duties
- Operate water trucks to transport and distribute water to various locations as directed
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper functioning
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes, and hours worked
- Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on trucks and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation and delivery activities
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly
Skills
- Valid commercial AZ/DZ driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating water trucks is a benefit
- Knowledge of basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Strong organizational skills for route planning and delivery documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards
- Physical ability to load/unload water supplies and perform vehicle inspections as needed
