Lehigh Hanson – Canada Region is seeking a qualified Inside Account Representative to be based in Edmonton, AB. The primary purpose of this position will be to make outbound calls to Small/Medium existing customers to build and cultivate new business opportunities within our Materials markets.

You will be the ideal candidate if you:
Have a background in utilizing the phone to contact and sell to potential customers; and
Have demonstrated the ability to acquire expertise and product knowledge in a technical field in order to develop business prospects

What you'll get to do:
Assist in the identification, evaluation, and planning of potential business opportunities across the Region.
Work with local Area Sales and Operations teams to build and execute a Market sales strategy.
Effectively establish relationships with existing small/medium Materials customers and build new business customers for relationship development.
Effectively communicate LHC’s value proposition through initial contact with new business customers.
Ongoing management of sales activities, customer contact management and market plans.

What we are looking for:
Some post-secondary; undergraduate degree in Sales and Marketing or CET preferred.
Experience in the Concrete and/or Aggregate production industry, shipping and/or inside sales functions preferred.
Knowledge of Concrete and/or Aggregate products and understanding of the markets for that product an asset.
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
Above average analytical, organizational and data management skills.
Ability to influence others.
Aptitude for detail work, self-management, and relationship building.
