Fixed Term Contract
Office Assistant’s main duties are as follows:
preparing documents for scanning.
scanning of the documents.
checking the quality of the scanned documents.
shredding the scanned documents.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, paperclips, sticky notes and straighten bends or creases in the documents.
Scan each document in the files, including double-sided pages and save in a digital format within the network file system.
Checks the quality of scanned documents to ensure the documents are scanned, accurately, and a clear quality image is captured.
Scanned Document Storage:
Ensures each scanned file is properly named and saved to the correct client file network drives.
After scanning, keep all original paper documents as per instructions from Supervisor. Example: client beneficiary forms
Shred all file documents that are not required to be kept in paper format as per the retention policy.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
Post-secondary education an asset.
Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong administrative and organizational skills with ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Proven ability to work in a team environment and/or independently with minimal supervision.
Good computer skills with basic level proficiency with Outlook, MS Word, and Excel.
Highly motivated and flexible.
Where permitted by law, LifeWorks employees must be fully immunized to access a LifeWorks office or customer premises.
