Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety, food preparation, and hospitality standards. Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service to ensure smooth workflow.
- Manage team members through interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and efficient staff.
- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and proper kitchen practices.
- Handle cash transactions using Micros POS systems accurately and securely.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality by ensuring excellent guest experiences and resolving any customer concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food quality, presentation, and timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Enforce health and safety regulations across the restaurant environment.
- Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, leadership, and teamwork to foster a positive work environment.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting is required.
- Extensive restaurant management background with knowledge of food industry standards.
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in interviewing and hiring staff within hospitality or hotel settings is preferred.
- Background in customer service excellence within the food industry is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, kitchen operations, and hospitality best practices is highly desirable.
