Job Description
Perform general clerical duties, including filing, document preparation, faxing, and report generation.
Coordinate and support PSW and nursing student placements by liaising with schools, assisting with onboarding documentation, coordinating schedules, tracking placement requirements, and supporting communication between students, educators, and the care team.
May conduct tours of the home for prospective residents, families, and visitors, providing accurate information and a welcoming experience in collaboration with leadership.
Maintain and update resident files and records, including current and discharged resident charts, in‑service attendance records, and related documentation.
Support the admission of new residents by assisting with administrative processes, documentation, orientation to the home, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team as required.
Professional Practice & Compliance
Adhere to departmental and organizational policies and procedures related to fire safety, infection prevention and control, occupational health and safety, and quality assurance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing; demonstrates active listening and a courteous, professional demeanour.
Excellent computer skills and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
