Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Organizational development lead to lead and oversee the strategic talent management functions within our organization. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of excellence, driving workforce optimization, and developing initiatives to attract, retain, and grow top talent in alignment with our business goals. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with expertise in talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, and leadership development, particularly within a high-paced, complex logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Strategy Development: Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain a high-performing workforce that meets the company’s current and future logistics and transportation needs.
- Workforce Planning & Optimization: Collaborate with leadership to align workforce planning with business goals, ensuring efficient staffing and optimized workflows across all departments.
- Performance Management: Design and oversee comprehensive performance management processes that drive accountability and promote a high-performance culture within a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce.
- Learning & Development: Build and lead development programs that promote growth, skill advancement, and leadership readiness, ensuring our teams are equipped to meet the demands of an evolving logistics environment.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within all talent management processes, fostering a culture where diverse perspectives and backgrounds are valued.
- Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding: Oversee recruiting efforts to attract top talent in transportation and logistics, partnering with hiring teams to ensure our hiring processes are competitive, inclusive, and effective.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention, including programs to increase satisfaction, well-being, and career progression within the company.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Experience: 7+ years in talent management or HR leadership roles, with significant experience in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain sectors.
- Skills: Proven leadership and strategic planning skills, with a record of developing and implementing successful talent management programs in complex and fast-paced environments. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of workforce needs in logistics, labor regulations, and best practices in performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement.
