Ticket Busters is one of Ontario’s busiest traffic and provincial offences defence firms. We’re hiring a full-time licensed paralegal to join our growing team.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and resolve a high volume of HTA/POA matters (speeding, careless driving, stunt driving, CVOR/commercial, and related charges)
- Handle client communication, disclosure review, and resolution strategy
- Represent clients at trial and in negotiations
- Work directly with ownership and senior staff
What we’re looking for:
- LSO paralegal licence in good standing
- Minimum 2 years’ licensed experience handling HTA and POA matters
- Strong judgment and the ability to manage high file volume accurately
- Clear, plain-language communicator
- Reliable, self-directed, and detail-oriented
Compensation: $60,000/year base plus performance bonuses tied to clear targets. Licensing and insurance support available.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend court daily as assigned
- Conduct Early Resolution discussions and procedural appearances
- Manage adjournments, pleas, and other routine courtroom matters
- Communicate appearance outcomes promptly and accurately to the principal paralegal
- Maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times within the courtroom environment
