Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Installer to support installation projects across various construction and renovation sites. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople in executing installation tasks, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in construction, hands-on skills, and the ability to learn quickly on the job.
Duties
- Assist with stone countertop installations according to project specifications.
- Use hand tools such as drills, , levels, and measuring devices to support installation activities.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces, and organizing materials.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout each project phase.
- Assist with the transportation and handling of materials and equipment on-site.
Requirements
- Prior experience with hand tools and basic construction tasks is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting a minimum 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of plumbing is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is a MUST.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively within a team environment.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
