Join our team and make a difference every day! The Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation is seeking a friendly, organized Gift Shoppe Associate to work in our hospital atrium shop. Proceeds from every sale go directly toward supporting patient care at Saskatoon City Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact responsibly and in a friendly manner with staff, patients and customers promoting good public relations with all client and customers;
- Responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with volunteers assisting in the Gift Shoppe;
- Maintain an environment whereby the City Hospital Gift Shoppe is organized in an attractive and public pleasing manner.
- Ensure that all financial (cash) transactions are handled appropriately
- When necessary, balance daily cash register totals to daily sales record from the computerized inventory
- Ensure lottery tickets are handled securely
- Interact responsibly and in a friendly manner with staff, patients and customers
- Availability to work shifts as required during regular business hours including 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday; be available to cover full day shifts in the absence of the Gift Shoppe Supervisor.
- When necessary, ensure Gift Shoppe is secure at end of day closing, duties include: daily cash out balancing and weekly inventory count of lottery tickets.

- Core hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 am–2:00 pm (minimum 20 hrs/week)
- Candidates should be available for additional hours as needed to provide coverage
- Location: Saskatoon City Hospital, 701 Queen Street, Saskatoon, SK
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- A professional, compassionate approach in a hospital setting
- Experience with point-of-sale systems is an asset
- Valid driver's license
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada
