Job Summary
We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Sales Professional to join our growing team. The primary focus of this role is to expand our market presence by securing new business, promoting building HVAC & automation preventative maintenance service agreements, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Actively hunt for new, prospective, and established commercial clients to sell HVAC/Automation service contracts.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
- Site Surveys & Assessments: Conduct site visits to assess client equipment needs and develop customized, strategic, multi-discipline maintenance proposals.
- Proposal Generation & Closing: Collaborate with technical teams to develop, present, and close maintenance contracts to achieve growth targets.
- Client Consultation: Educate clients on energy efficiency, cost savings, and system reliability through preventive maintenance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven background in sales, with specific building type service contracts, facility management, or commercial industrial sales preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of building mechanical equipment and/or environmental control systems, and the ability to explain technical benefits to clients, is an asset.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to convert prospects into clients, manage a sales pipeline, and meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related technical field is a plus, but equivalent experience will be considered.
