We’re looking for a Project Manager - Marketing & Events - who will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that every initiative moves forward smoothly and seamlessly.
Our team leads high-impact initiatives like the Alair Awards and Conference, supports the Regional Leadership Team with the Alair Project Management Summit, and helps manage national, regional, and local marketing tasks for 107+ locations across North America. And now, we’re looking for someone who can help us stay on course and drive these efforts with precision.
What You’ll Be Doing (Your Mission)
As the Project Manager - Marketing & Events, you’ll be the engine that ensures everything runs efficiently—from managing timelines and budgets to leading team traffic meetings and tracking progress. You’ll also be responsible for reviewing and processing location and vendor partner invoices and providing regular updates to leadership teams regionally and nationally, ensuring clarity and alignment across the board.
· Project Management: Oversee national, regional, and local projects, ensuring tasks, timelines, and budgets align with strategic goals.
· Budget & Time Estimation: Lead budget management and time estimation for all projects, making sure resources are allocated effectively and wisely.
· Invoice Submission Oversight: Review and process marketing budget submissions from local and regional teams, providing clear feedback and updates to leadership.
· Team Traffic & Standup Management: Lead weekly traffic meetings and daily standups to ensure the team is aligned, focused, and moving forward.
· Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, budget tracking, and brand fund submissions to regional and national leadership.
· Strategic Alignment: Make sure every project is tied to a broader strategic plan, ensuring that all tasks align with the company’s overall goals.
What We’re Looking For (Your Superpowers)
· 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on marketing or event coordination.
· Proven ability to manage complex timelines, budgets, and multiple stakeholders with confidence.
· Strong organizational and task management skills—attention to detail is second nature to you.
· Experience with managing brand fund submissions or similar financial oversight tasks.
· Leadership skills to run team standups, traffic meetings, and keep everyone on the same page.
· Familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com or Microsoft Planner.
· Excellent communication skills to provide regular updates to leadership teams.
