We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms, maintaining precise inventory records and control.
- Coordinate warehouse distribution processes, optimizing workflows for timely deliveries and pickups.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training, motivation, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing environment.
- Oversee forklift operations and mechanical equipment use, ensuring safety compliance and proper handling of heavy loads.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline logistics workflows.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all warehouse activities.
Skills
- Extensive experience in warehouse management, including supervising teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques and inventory control systems.
- Proven ability to manage warehouse distribution processes efficiently within e-commerce or 3PL settings.
- Skilled in logistics coordination, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling.
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 platforms, and other relevant software tools.
- Mechanical knowledge related to forklifts and warehouse equipment operation; forklift certification preferred.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a safety-conscious culture.
