Summary
Join our team as a Vegetable Farm Worker in our greenhouse located in Canada. This role is vital in ensuring the quality and timely production of vegetable transplants, supporting our mission to provide top-quality plants to farmers nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- Clean work area
- Report signs of insect or disease damage
- Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
- Assist in grafting activities
- Perform general labouring duties
- May operate machinery and do other farm duties as trained and required
Work conditions and physical capabilities
- Fast-paced environment
- Repetitive tasks
- Physically demanding
- Standing for extended periods
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Education
- No Degree, certificate or diploma required
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting up to 50lbs.
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
