We are currently seeking motivated Personal Support Workers (P.S.W.) to provide staffing relief to our Retirement Home clients.
Chinese speaking staff are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for providing direct patient care:
- Follows facility policies and procedures
- Reports to facility Team Lead.
- Aware of MOHLTC standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in long-term care or hospital setting is an asset.
- Availability to work various on-call or scheduled shifts
- A current BCLS/CPR certificate is required
- Personal Support Worker (P.S.W.)Diploma from an accredited Canadian educational institution.
- Current and updated Police Record Check
- Strong computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel and email
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Well-developed interpersonal/communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills
- Works well in a changing environment
Duties include but not limited to the following:
- Regular health status monitoring and checkups
- Resident care for incontinence
- Resident assistance with personal hygiene
- Resident care of finger and toenails
- Resident assistance with feeding
- Resident assistance with bathing
- Resident assistance with dressing
- Resident assistance with ambulation
