Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily store operations. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and engagement
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, and pricing strategies
- Manage sales activities to meet or exceed sales targets through effective sales management techniques
- Handle customer service issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping with accuracy and integrity
- Develop marketing strategies to promote store products and increase foot traffic
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, policies, and updates
- Monitor store budget, control expenses, and optimize profitability through effective financial management
- Implement promotional campaigns and pricing strategies aligned with company objectives
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or sales management roles with supervising responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, bookkeeping, and basic math skills for pricing and financial tasks
- Leadership qualities with experience in team management, training & development, and interviewing candidates
- Knowledge of merchandising, marketing, purchasing, budgeting, and payroll processes
- Exceptional customer service skills with phone etiquette expertise
- Ability to work under pressure with effective time management skills
- Administrative experience including record keeping and organizational skills
