Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and the ability to perform basic automotive repairs when necessary. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high safety standards and operational excellence.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight over short and long distances
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during operations
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in commercial driving or freight transportation preferred
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
