Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales & Operations Coordinator to support the Sales Manager in managing customer accounts, coordinating projects, and ensuring smooth execution of sales orders from quotation to delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, mills, logistics providers, and internal teams to deliver excellent customer service while supporting business development and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for Sales & Operations for the company and its subsidiary including but not limited to:
Sales Support
- Support the Sales Manager with day-to-day sales activities and customer account management.
- Prepare quotations, sales contracts, purchase orders, and other commercial documentation.
- Coordinate communications between customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Maintain customer databases and sales records.
- Assist in customer meetings and prepare meeting minutes and follow-up action items.
Order Management
- Manage the complete order lifecycle from quotation to shipment and final delivery.
- Monitor order status and ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate production schedules with manufacturing facilities.
- Track order progress and proactively communicate updates to customers.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
Cost Analysis & Pricing
- Perform cost analysis for quotations and projects.
- Analyze raw material, freight, duty, and logistics costs.
- Support pricing strategy through profitability analysis.
- Prepare financial summaries and margin reports.
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and warehouses.
- Monitor shipping schedules and delivery performance.
- Resolve transportation and logistics issues.
- Support import/export documentation and compliance requirements.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate large customer projects from planning through completion.
- Track project milestones, production schedules, inspections, and deliveries.
- Coordinate with customers, mills, inspectors, and third-party service providers.
- Monitor project timelines and identify potential risks.
Delivery & Schedule Management
- Monitor production and delivery schedules.
- Ensure on-time delivery performance.
- Proactively identify delays and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain delivery tracking reports.
Market Research & Reporting
- Conduct market research on steel products, competitors, and industry trends.
- Monitor market pricing and supply-demand conditions.
- Prepare regular sales reports, market intelligence reports, and management presentations.
- Support forecasting and business planning.
Customer Service & Claims Management
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly.
- Coordinate resolution of quality claims and delivery issues.
- Work with mills and quality teams to investigate customer complaints.
- Prepare claim documentation and follow-up reports.
Business Travel
- Travel occasionally to visit customers, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, industry exhibitions, and project sites.
- Support customer audits and production inspections when required.
Administrative Support
- Prepare reports, presentations, and management summaries.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in sales support, project coordination, logistics, or supply chain. (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Korean is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
