Rehab First Inc. is currently seeking Occupational Therapists that are currently registered or working towards registration as a new grad with COTO to join our team. The successful candidate will provide services and have the willingness to travel while living in one of the following area:
Toronto and the surrounding community
Rehab First is one of Ontario`s largest multidisciplinary assessment and treatment organizations,numbering approximately 120 professional staff that are supported by the Psychologists and Physicians on our MEDNet® roster.
Qualifications:
- You hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and are currently registered or working towards registration as a new grad with COTO
- Have a valid CPR certificate
- Hold a Valid Driver’s Licence, auto insurance and have a reliable vehicle
- Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete general and specialized assessments such as those for physical and cognitive capacities, mobility, and attendant care needs
- Develop treatment plans with the client
- Provide client treatment in the clinic, their community, their home or workplace
- Work with clients that have a variety of injury or illness which may include physical, cognitive and/or mental health conditions
- Preparing and submitting case notes and reports
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
