Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive auditory evaluations across the lifespan
- Develop personalized treatment plans, including fitting and programming hearing aids and assistive listening devices
- Educate patients and their families on hearing health, device usage, maintenance, and communication strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and follow-up plans
- Stay current with advancements in audiology technology and techniques through ongoing professional development
- Provide counseling to support patients in adapting to hearing devices and managing auditory health challenges
Qualifications
- Master's or Au.D. in Audiology
- Eligible for CSASK licensure
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to auditory and vestibular systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with patients of all ages
- Ability to operate advanced audiological equipment and interpret test results accurately
- Prior experience working in clinical settings is advantageous but not mandatory; training provided for new graduates
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care with attention to detail
