ROLE
Carpenter that is experienced in all aspects of new residential construction. Responsibilities include demolition, foundation preparation, framing, exterior finishing, interior finishing, and landscaping.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Report to job lead
- Site setup and takedown
- Basic carpentry
- Site cleaning and maintenance
- Adhere to health and safety work procedures at all times
EXPERIENCE
Knowledge and experience in residential construction is an asset. On-the-job training will also be provided.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have valid BC driver's licence and own vehicle as work sites may vary from Qualicum to Ladysmith
- Must own personal protective equipment including: hard hat, steel toe boots, high visibility vest, and safety glasses/goggles
- Preferably has own hand tools and tool belt
- Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
The right applicant displays a professional and hard work ethic, and is able to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision. They use clear communication, and has excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills. Experience is an asset, but not required as long as they are eager to learn.
