Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 310T Licensed Truck and Coach Technician / 3rd Year Apprentice to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues with trucks, coaches, and industrial equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulic components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery to complete repairs efficiently
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery as needed for vehicle servicing or site work
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of mechanical components during repair processes
- Follow safety protocols related to heavy lifting, equipment operation, and hazardous materials handling
- Maintain detailed records of work performed in accordance with dealership standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair status and technical issues
Requirements
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach License with current certification required
- Minimum of three years dealership experience or equivalent in heavy-duty truck repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, industrial equipment, farm machinery, HVAC systems, and electrical systems
- Proficiency with schematics, diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance procedures
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or other industrial equipment is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and vehicle repairs
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
