Ramada Hotel Fredericton is currently seeking a Front Desk Agent. We are looking for someone special to join our dynamic team. You must be passionate about delivering outstanding guest service, outgoing, very friendly and team-oriented and truly enjoy meeting people while providing the ultimate guest experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Efficient check-in and check-out of our guests - Maintain accurate guest accounts - Analyze front office reports and balance guest room inventory - Maintain a high level of customer service at all times - Balance cash/credit cards - Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (morning/afternoon/evening/weekends ) - Promote a positive work environment - Creative and dynamic thinker (we love new ideas and suggestions) Qualifications and Experience: - Prior experience in the hospitality industry and/or retail customer service environment or related field a definite asset - Experience with Opera reservation system a definite asset - High school diploma/GED is a must - Must be professional in demeanor and well-groomed - Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong analytical skills - Excellent listening skills - Excellent oral/written communication skills - Bilingualism (English/French) a definite asset - Computer-friendly - Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions - Ability to multi-task and remain calm and confident - Teachable and ability to learn and work in a team environment About Ramada Hotel Fredericton : Ramada Fredericton features Atlantic Canada's only 10,000 square foot indoor Mediterranean courtyard.
