This is a full-time permanent job opportunity working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to report to the Facility Services and Maintenance Manager. This position will be responsible for managing the flow of service requests for the Facility Services Department and work alongside property management team and all trades ensuring all service requests are entered into the system and delivered to appropriate personnel to carry out. The duties include but not limited to:
- Receive service requests and create work orders in Yardi.
- Track and report work orders’ progress.
- Perform clerical functions such as type, photocopy, scan, fax, and file documents.
- Create and update reports.
- Support office safety and environmental programs with various reporting requirements.
- Support management and staff of Facility Services team as needed.
- Assist with special projects and assignments as needed.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Secondary education in administrative studies.
- 2-3 years experience in an administrative role, preferably in construction, renovation and property management environment but not required.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Knowledge in Yardi system an asset.
- Intermediate level skills in MS office software, i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to take responsibility, demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Flexible attitude.
