Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance operations in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and maintenance processes. This role requires effective management of maintenance staff, ensuring equipment reliability, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to enhance operational efficiency.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
- Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and track trends in ordering.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills in mechanical, electrical, boilers, HVAC, and low voltage systems.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a management role within a manufacturing setting.
- 5-years supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in working with HVAC systems and low voltage applications.
- Experience supervising teams, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
