As the General Manager, you are the strategic leader of the branch.
You are responsible for implementing, controlling, and assessing Patty Slaps' operational standards, policies, and objectives within your location. While headquarters defines the framework, you ensure it is executed successfully through strong leadership, sound decision-making, and effective team development.
This role carries final accountability for branch performance, including operations, financial results, compliance, team development, and guest experience. You will work closely with Assistant General Managers, Team Leads, and headquarters departments to ensure the branch operates at the highest standard.

Approve schedules and operational setups in accordance with company policies

Oversee day-to-day branch performance and operational execution

Direct Assistant General Managers and Team Leads in resolving operational challenges

Ensure consistent implementation of Patty Slaps standards and procedures
-
Optimize workflows to improve efficiency, service quality, and guest satisfaction

Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions when required
-
Approve vendor selection and relationship terms within approved guidelines
-
Oversee vendor compliance with quality, delivery, and pricing expectations
-
Evaluate vendor performance regularly and address performance concerns
-
Escalate unresolved vendor issues to headquarters when necessary

Assess vendor impact on branch operations and guest experience

Review branch financial reports and performance trends
-
Approve labor budgets and cost allocations

Set branch performance targets aligned with company objectives

Monitor labor, food cost, waste, and profitability metrics

Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions

Drive operational improvements that support financial performance

Lead branch audits and compliance reviews

Implement audit requirements and performance criteria established by headquarters

Assess compliance gaps and execute corrective action plans

Conduct performance reviews in accordance with company guidelines

Ensure ongoing adherence to food safety, labor, and operational standards

Set leadership priorities and establish a strong branch culture

Coach, mentor, and develop Assistant General Managers and Team Leads

Identify and develop high-potential team members

Resolve escalated employee concerns and workplace conflicts

Set clear performance expectations and foster accountability

Promote a culture of feedback, growth, and continuous improvement

Approve local marketing initiatives and promotional activities
-
Ensure campaigns align with company objectives and brand standards

Assess promotional performance and customer impact

Coordinate sales-driving initiatives with operational capacity

Participate in community engagement and high-visibility events when required

Oversee shift reports, compliance documentation, and operational records

Submit KPI dashboards, audit results, and performance evaluations to headquarters

Maintain audit readiness across all areas of the branch

Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time

Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience required

Previous experience leading managers and supervisors preferred

Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and performance management

Bilingual (French & English) required
