Overview
Fix Auto Charlottetown is seeking a highly organized and experienced individual for their parts department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, work well under pressure, and is able to remain professional in all circumstances.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with various parts suppliers in person, on phone, and electronically
- Receive parts orders for vehicle repairs and log arrival of parts in electronic system
- Properly organize parts orders as they are received using coding system
- Lift loads of awkward shape/size, up to 50lbs
- Communicate with shop staff regarding status of orders as they are updated
- Maintain accurate data for inventory reports, shop efficiency, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to warehouse operations
- Must work well independently and with a group when required
- Strong attention to detail and completely tasks in a timely manner
- Possess a valid drivers license
Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Automotive industry experience is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive parts and repair processes
- Customer service experience
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
