Duties
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care
- Collect and process laboratory samples, perform tests, and interpret results to aid in accurate diagnoses
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Maintain detailed medical records, update patient files, and ensure compliance with clinic protocols
- Provide client education on pet health, nutrition, and preventive care to foster responsible pet ownership
- Support laboratory functions by preparing samples and managing laboratory equipment efficiently
- Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures and provide post-operative care to ensure patient recovery
Skills
- Proven laboratory experience with the ability to perform diagnostic tests accurately and efficiently
