We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our rapidly growing team. You are a passionate storyteller, who is a skilled communicator with a proven track record of managing and growing multiple social channels and brands simultaneously. Yup! You can multitask. You are a strategic thinker and have a knack for detail. You have the ability to build online hyper-local communities that create human connection and bring people together, is kind of your thing. This candidate must be able to put together social media strategies, develop tactics and campaigns that drive our business goals, audience growth, engagement, reach, conversations and more.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Handel the day-to-day management of our various social channels (FB, IG, Twitter, Linkedin, Tiktok)
You have a strong ability to drive engagement while being able to bounce back and forth between different various brands.
You have experience in digital strategy, brand marketing and love all things social.
You have no problem publishing content and have a knack for detail.
Strong ability to research industry trends and best practices.
You have your finger on every social. That means you are up to date with the latest trends and changes.
Solid ability to create and publish compelling content on our social media channels with the support of the marketing team.
Proactively seeking opportunities to improve and strength brand communication through digital storytelling.
Ability to brainstorm and conceptualize unique ideas for existing and new brands.
Continuously identify and act on new opportunities for audience growth, brand awareness, and brand exposure.
Strong understanding of what it means to create engaging content.
Able to collect, analyze and use social data to affect change.
Have an excellent eye for photography, social video and copy skills.
Lead cross-channel social strategy for key brands and community campaigns.
Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.

Who We’re Looking For:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing, social media management or related field
A post-secondary degree in Digital Marketing, Communications or related
Exceptional written communication skills.
Ability to edit and create video content is considered an asset.
Photography skills are considered an asset.
Experience writing for SEO.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Computer skills required: MS Office Suite, Google Analytics,
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with tools and software such as hootsuite, Wordpress, Moz and SEMrush
