Purpose and Scope
The Foreman is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Department.
Organization Relationship
The Foreman will report directly to the Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Working both day and evening shifts as required to align with Plant Shifts
- Ensure production targets are achieved
- Lead a safe work culture, ensure compliance with applicable policies and statutes, investigate accidents, and coordinate training.
- Direct daily operations, assign tasks, mentor and train employees, and enforce policies
- Assign manpower as required to maintain production timelines
- Promote positive labor relations, ensure company policies are followed by employees, and coordinate training.
- Ensure all quality standards are met and report areas where improvements can be made.
Qualifications
- Experience in plant operations, safety, HR, and quality control.
- Skills in leadership, planning, and problem-solving.
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
- 2 years of post-secondary education
- 5-7 years’ experience in a hands-on role in a Manufacturing environment
Salary commensurate with knowledge and experience
Pay: From $70,000.00 per hour
