Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and energetic individual to join our team as a Steamoji Facilitator. As a facilitator, you will play a crucial role in assisting apprentices with Steamoji missions, fostering confidence and enthusiasm for STEM subjects, and creating a safe and enjoyable environment for children to explore, experiment, and cultivate a growth mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of the Steamoji curriculum
- Contribute to and uphold company culture and Steamoji core values
- Review instructional videos before each session
- Work closely with 4-6 apprentices to complete missions
- Guide apprentices through the making process of Steamoji projects
- Provide assistance with tools and equipment, ensuring safety throughout the process
- Create and share video artifacts, offering constructive feedback to parents
Qualifications:
- High School, College/University Students seeking a part-time position working with children and learning basic technological skills
- Basic knowledge of coding and technology, or a quick ability to grasp basic concepts
- Energetic, fun, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with children
- Effective communication skills with both children and adults
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Interest in technology and a willingness to learn basic coding
Job Type: Part-time, Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexible, including weekdays and weekends as needed
Education: University student (preferred) / Secondary School
Experience: Teaching experience (preferred)
