Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle issues and malfunctions.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed during the repair process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition, necessary repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
Requirements
- Journey Person, Red Seal required
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Basic welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are advantageous.
